Worthy Grand Patron Frank
Cullen
New Glasgow N.S.
Brother Frank was born in New Glasgow, graduated from New
Glasgow schools, attended Dalhousie University and graduated from TUNS as a
Mechanical Engineer . His working career was spent as a Designer and
Engineering Manager in the steel fabrication industry, specializing in
pressure vessel and freight car design, and as Project Manager during the
construction of several exploration oil drilling rigs.
He served a term as New Glasgow Town Councilor, and held
many voluntary positions on committees of Town Council.
He is a member of Doric Lodge in New Glasgow, and has
served as Master on two occasions, is a Past Grand Steward of the Grand
Lodge of N.S., served as elected member of the Board of General Purposes of
Grand Lodge, a Director of the Masonic Home Board, and currently is serving
a second term as a Director of the Masonic Foundation.
He is a Shriner, a member of Scottish Rite, and The
Royal Order of Scotland. He joined Lady Doric Chapter in 1978, and served as
Worthy Patron on three occasions. When Lady Doric surrendered their charter,
he affiliated with Westville Chapter, and served as Worthy Patron on two
more occasions. He served on the ESTARL committee, serving as Chairman for
two years, provided and operated the sound system for Grand Chapter for many
years, served as Grand Marshal, and was elected Grand Sentinel in 2008.
