SPECIAL EVENTS:

Grace Chapter No. 8 in Lunenburg

The evening proved to be very successful starting off with a wonderful dinner at the Wagon Wheel Dining Room. Following the dinner there were 82 that attended the meeting. Shown below are a few pictures which include a group of Grace Chapter members known as the ‘Bluenose Bells & Bows’ who sang Christmas songs to the WGM and WGP. Others shown here are Edith Taylor (now 86 years young I might add) and as per usual her age doesn’t stop her from doing extra duties such as selling tickets on a basket for her Chapter after which she filled the station of Warder. Also shown are Paul Keddy (Treasurer) and Jean Hardy (Star Point Electa) and Robert Turner (Organist).

The Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron were extended an extra warm welcome at Arbutus Chapter No. 30 in Milton. Prior to the meeting many attended a delicious dinner at the Golden Pond Restaurant in Liverpool. WM Anna and WP Bill Cox had a very enjoyable meeting followed by a social time in the hall. Shown are the WGM & WGP as they were escorted to the Star Points for their addends as well as the WGP, WGM, WM & WP at the altar for the signing of the Bibles.

Shoreham Chapter No. 59 Chester

The Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron made their official visit at Shoreham Chapter No. 59, Chester on September 16 2008.

Pearl Chapter No.71

The Worthy Grand Matron and Worthy Grand Patron made their official visit at Pearl Chapter September 25.

During the Official Visit to Pearl Chpt the WGP was fortunate to meet a wonderful Sister who belongs to Crescent Chpt No. 10 in Nanaimo, BC.  Jean Leath-Watson is shown in the picture with WGP and her daughter Jo Leath of Annaval Chpt who she was visiting. In January the WGP and wife Bev were introduced to 2 other Sisters from Nanaimo who were here visiting in Halifax. Whereas it was bitter cold the WGP drove the sisters several mornings to their destination downtown where they were attending the skating competitions and luckily they had a free evening to attend the stated meeting of Kwebec Chpt No. 27. They also belong to Crescent Chpt No. 10 in Nanaimo.
