Kwebec Chapter News

Member of Kwebec Chapter No. 27 Beverley Wentzell, had an exciting vacation to Puerto Rico to attend their Grand Chapter session. Bev took with her Halifax pins as well as Nova Scotia and Canadian pins which she distributed. She was accompanied by the Grand Representative of Puerto Rico in Nova Scotia and brought back wonderful memories of her trip to share with others. Shown in the pictures are: Beverley and WGM Petey Sorteno de Ramfrez. Standing from left to right: Maxine Young (Emerald #58), Beverley Wentzell, WGM Petey Sorteno de Ramfrez, WGP O. Javier Serrano Irizarry, Janet Hue (Grand Rep/Emerald #58) & Gloria & William Bennett of Texas. Javier was congratulated for bringing into the Order 42 new members in his year as WGP. At the banquet table Bev is seated with old friends as well as new. Bev herself has only been a member since Oct. 2006 and this year is holding the office of Chaplin.

Mystic Star No. 40 celebrated the Official Visit of the Worthy Grand Matron Sister Edith and Worthy Grand Patron Brother Ted. Following the meeting a time of fellowship was held in the downstairs hall with plenty to eat along with a hugh cake which was enjoyed by all. Shown in the pictures are the Worthy Matron Christine Ryan (newly elected this year), Worthy Patron James Coolen and WGM & WGP.
